Hello. I am a 29-year old journalist and writer who has been following Formula One since 1991. I have travelled to many Grand Prix, the first of which was the classic 1993 European Grand Prix at Donington Park. Since then I have been to several Formula One races at Silverstone in 1994, 1995 and 1996, as well as one visit to Hockenheim in 1993 and Spa Francorchamps in 1994. I also have a huge personal experience of visiting most of the UK’s circuits and have attended virtually every type of racing series at some point.
Some of my personal motorsport highlights that I was lucky enough to attend aside from Formula One were:
1992 Formula Ford Festival – Brands Hatch.
1993 TOCA Shoot-Out – Donington Park.
BTCC race meetings from 1993 to 1996 at Thruxton, Silverstone, Snetterton, Brands Hatch and Donington Park.
2006 GP Masters – Silverstone.
2007 and 2008 A1GP meetings at Brands Hatch.
2009 Formula One British Grand Prix Friday Practice -Silverstone.
These are by no means all the race meetings I have attended, this list barely scratches the surface. However they are just some of the highlights that spring to mind.
